Pete (Sean Marshall) is on the run. Namely, before the family Gogan, who bought it legally for 50 dollars and consumed him as a cheap assistant. At his side is Elliot. Elliot is a dragon. Large, green, pink wings and Pete’s Dragon 2016 always ready for funny pranks. The two take a one day in the small port town of Passamaquoddy, where they put on the first day the peaceful village life thoroughly upside.

Discovered by Nora (Hellen Reddy) Pete is added to their family in the lighthouse, is one of the somewhat ridiculous old codger Lampie (Mickey Rooney). He is also leading the charlatan Dr. Terminus (Jim Dayle) to track down the dragon. Of course, the wily Dr. Terminus is keen to grab the dragon and thus to let the cash registers ringing. So Elliot and Pete will set a trap. Because the Gogans are also resurfaced and want Pete get back to back.

 Little boy comes in small village and finds a new family. And if the boy would not funny dragon, which would have become a flop. But Elliot brings halt the film again and again out of boredom and his facial expressions, his humor and his whole appearance (green great dragon with purple wings small ...) are just simply amazing and he is on the loose as well known today in the parks DisneyI loved him as a child and declare myself even today the most loyal fans of the film. Even though he has songs, not really nice to invite, even to sing along. Even if the actual story is pretty bland and really only comes joy when Elliot enters the scene. Even if the trick animations look just quite old and handmade. Without the dragon, it would have been a boring musical that does have some great slapstick, but is just not quite up to date. The dragon saves the movie and already alone for the animation of Kerlchens and the sympathy that I bring forward to this film, here is just simply the highest rating attached.
